The reclamation of physicality among oppressed populations is a radical act.
Our mission at Oakland Aikido is to support that process. As such, we are committed to building a trauma-informed, collaborative learning space that is body-neutral, anti-racist, and gender-inclusive.
Additionally, we are committed to a culture of care, which includes taking precautions against the transmission of infectious diseases such as COVID-19. At this time, wearing a (K)N95 mask or better is required to participate in classes at our Oakland Aikido location.
