We love to welcome guests from other dojo and newcomers interested in trying out Aikido, but please do not show up without checking in ahead of time. Read on for instructions on how to do so.

If you’ve never tried Aikido, or it’s been a long time, please read our blog post, Joining the dojo and sign up for your free intro class!

If you’re a member of another dojo and would like to drop in for class, please contact us at oaklandaikido@gmail.com so we know to expect you. Also please make sure to sign our waiver ahead of time. We look forward to welcoming you to our dojo!

Members are also welcome to attend classes at Aikido of Berkeley at no additional charge.*

As part of our Culture of Care, we are taking the following precautions at this time:

  • All members are asked to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations. See this page from the CDC for more information about what that means.

  • K/N95 mask required for training at our CSS location (1728 62nd St, Berkeley, CA 94703). We can provide one if you forget yours.

*Because it is a separate dojo with its own policies, masks are not required for classes at the Aikido of Berkeley location. We encourage you to wear one if you attend classes there.
